The Leader of the Threepeat

Abbey Telesz, a Colorado native, is a three-time co-captain of the Juniata Eagle’s volleyball program.

Telesz helped lead the Eagles to their third straight national championship title in the 2024 season, while they maintained the longest win streak in Division III volleyball history. 

She may not fill up the stat sheet or make it on the highlight reel, but Telesz’s impact on the team is undeniable.

“It’s about being willing to sacrifice yourself. As the captain you have to be there for the better of the team, doing whatever that is.”

You may not see Abbey Telesz on the court very often, but she is one of the many reasons this team can persevere.
